Development platform allows real-time, closed-loop motor control development

26-02-2016 | RS Components | Design & Manufacture

The C2000 Piccolo LaunchPad is now available from RS Components. It is seen as an ideal starting-point evaluation and development platform, enabling users to explore real-time, closed-loop control development. It is based around the C2000 InstaSPIN TMS320F28027F microcontroller, which features InstaSPIN-FOC motor control technology. Developers can quickly identify, automatically tune, and control a three phase motor, while providing an 'instantly' stable and functional motor control system. Power electronics applications, include motor control, digital power supplies, solar inverters, digital LED lighting, precision sensing, and more, says the company.
