TE Connectivity's new Type C USB connectors are now available from RS
Components, providing a single solution for both power and data in one
connection.
Up to 100W of power and super-fast data up to 10Gbit/s. The USB connector is
suitable for the next generation of USB specification, release1.1. The
connector has a slim design for small portable devices, yet rugged enough
for industrial applications.
The USB connector has a reversible mating feature allowing connections to be
made in any direction so ensuring fast easy reliable mating.
Typical applications include Smartphones, PCs, laptops and tablets power
packs and chargers.
