GaAS MMIC driver amplifier offers high gain over wide bandwidth

09-03-2016 | Custom MMIC | Design & Manufacture

Latest from Custom MMIC is the CMD232 2-9GHz driver amplifier. The wideband GaAs MMIC device offers high gain, wide bandwidth, single positive supply voltage, and a small die size. The device is ideal for defence, space, and communications systems that require small size and high linearity. At 6GHz it delivers greater than 15dB of gain with a corresponding output 1dB compression point of +17dBm and an output IP3 of 23dBm. The device features a 50ohm matched design, which eliminates the need for external DC blocks and RF port matching, and offers full passivation for increased reliability and moisture protection. The device is a pin-compatible CMM-9 replacement.
