Synchronous buck switching regulator with low on-resistance power MOSFETs

Rohm's BD9C301FJ-EVK-001 switching regulator evaluation board is now available from RS Components. Featuring built-in low on-resistance power MOSFETs, Rohm's BD9C301FJ synchronous buck switching regulator features a wide input voltage range allowing it to provide a current of up to 3A. It is a current mode control DC-DC converter and features high-speed transient response. Phase compensation can also be set easily. Features include a synchronous single DC-DC converter, over-current / thermal-shutdown / under-voltage lockout and short-circuit protection, and fixed soft start. Applications include LCD TVs, set-top boxes, DVD / Blu-ray players / recorders, broadband network and communication interfaces, and entertainment devices.
