Test & Measurement
The Texas Instruments (TI) TMP107 is a digital output temperature sensor with a bidirectional UART interface allowing it to be used in a daisy-chain cable configuration. The TMP107 is designed for extended temperature measurement in a variety of industrial, instrumentation, communication, and environmental applications, and is specified for operation from -55C to +125C.
The TMP107EVM includes a USB-to-UART interface and four TMP107 devices to evaluate in a daisy-chain. The computer interface board has a solderless 3-lead connector to the cable so the included cable can be removed and a custom cable with up to 31 devices can be inserted with ease.
