Enhanced performance power inlet filter

TE Connectivity has improved the performance of the Corcom EJT Series IEC inlet filter for high frequency applications and is available from Farnell element14. It has extended the flange around the IEC320-C14 inlet to reduce the amount of radiated radio frequency (RF) through potential gaps around the installed filter. It is suitable for test equipment, medical diagnostics and communication equipment applications. This series provides superior EMI filter performance up to 1GHz, where typical filters are designed to perform to only 30MHz. The superior performance of the series comes from a unique circuit design and an internal construction technique to attenuate frequencies above 30MHz.
