Cornell Dubilier (CDE) HZA Series Hybrid Polymer-Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors, available from Mouser, combine the power of solid polymer aluminum technology with wet aluminum electrolytic technology to produce a surface mount capacitor with a 10,000 hour life and low leakage current. It is suitable for filtering, bypassing and power supply decoupling with long life requirements. They are ideal for high density PC board designs. The vertical cylindrical cases facilitate automatic mounting and feature high reflow soldering temperature capability.
Other features of the HZA series polymer-aluminum capacitors include high voltage capability, very low ESR, and small case sizes. This series, ideal for high density PC board designs, has capacitance range from 10 to 330µF and voltage range from 25Vdc to 80Vdc.
