Murata Type KX new small size ceramic capacitor, available from Mouser, is a safety standard certified ceramic capacitor that offers 20 per cent size reduction from standard Type KX devices. The capacitors have a dielectric strength of AC4000V and the operating temperature range is guaranteed up to 125C.
They are ideal for use as X/Y capacitors for AC line filters and primary-secondary coupling on switching power supplies and AC adapters.
