High quality, stainless steel, pushbutton switches feature robust construction and a long life

The Multicomp series of metal pushbutton switches, available from Farnell element14, feature LED illumination for high visibility, with a high quality stainless steel body and actuator for robust construction and a long mechanical life. The devices are designed to offer 50,000 make and break cycles at full load, with a mechanical life momentary 1,000,000. Insulation resistance is measured at 1,000Mohm min at 500VDC, with dielectric strength of 2,000V RMS at sea level and contact resistance of 50mohm max. at 1A 12VDC (initial value). Switches from the multicomp metal pushbutton series have an operating temperature range of -20C to +55C, torque of 5~14Nm, are fully RoHS complaint and carry an IP67/IK10 rating for Ingress Protection. Typical applications include a wide range of industrial, medical and communication applications.
