Stocked by Mouser, the Intersil ISL68200DEMO1Z hybrid digital controller demonstration board is a 20A synchronous buck converter with PMBus control. The compact 6-layer board evaluates transient performance, fault protections, DC/AC regulations, PMBus programming, power sequencing, margining and other features. The device includes USB-to-PMBus adapter and a USB cable.
The PMBus dongle (USB-to-PMBus adapter) and USB cable are included in the demonstration kit. The evaluation software can be installed from Intersil’s website and evaluate the full PMBus functionality of the part using a PC running Microsoft Windows 7 or 8.
