EPCOS / TDK B3268x Metallized Polypropylene Film Capacitors, available from Mouser, offer a high pulse strength and high contact reliability. The capacitors are constructed with a UL 94 V-0 compliant plastic case with film metallised on one side and metal foils internally connected in series and UL94 V-0 compliant epoxy resin sealing. The capacitors feature self-healing properties and are RoHS-compatible.
The device is suitable for smoothing, snubbering, electronic ballast, switch mode power supplies, high-frequency AC loads, high voltages and very high currents.
