In stock at Mouser, Littelfuse CG6 and CG7 Series ultra small surface mount gas discharge tubes offer high surge ratings in a miniature surface mount package. The series ultra small surface mount gas discharge tubes provide high levels of protection against fast rising transients caused by lightning disturbances. The tubes are able to divert 3kA (CG6) and 1kA (CG7) pulses without destruction. Both series are designed for protection of electrical, multimedia, and communication equipment against over voltage transients in SMT assembly applications. The low insertion loss of these devices makes them ideal for broadband equipment applications.
