Ultra-flat and durable displacement sensors for defence, aerospace and space applications

TTI Europe now stocks the ultra-thin UFPMA/UFPMC series displacement sensors from Vishay for use in defence, aerospace and space applications in Europe. The components are flexible potentiometer membranes and represent a new generation of linear or angular position measurement. The UFPMA/UFPMC series sensors benefit from a very high integration capacity for applications like industrial actuators. Highly durable and meeting IP68 requirements, the devices can resist harsh environments by giving a good repeatability of the signal and simplifying the design of some applications requiring protection from dust and water. Customised versions with specific electrical and mechanical features are available.
