Small 8W encapsulated DC-DC converter in tiny DIP-16 package

MINMAX has introduced the new MDW08 series of 8W isolated / regulated DC-DC converters in a small 16 pin DIP package measuring only 0.94” x 0.54” x 0.31” where space is critical. The family series of high-density DC-DC converters consists of 21 models offering 9-18 / 18-36 / 36-75VDC input ranges with single and dual output models ranging 3.3–15VDC delivering 8W of output power an encapsulated package. All models feature: I/O isolation of 1500VDC and have high efficiency up to 85% enable operating temperature range of -40C to +80C (derating above 70C). They have fully regulated outputs, no minimum load requirement, lower no-load power consumption; shielded metal package; under-voltage lockout and over voltage / overload / short-circuit protection. All models have been qualified under the CB scheme with safety approvals to UL/cUL/IEC/EN 62368-1 (60950-1) standards. All products are Reach Compliant, RoHS Compliant, Hazardous Substance Process Management(IECQ QC 080000) and conflict mineral free backed by a three year warranty.
