Evaluation board designed to supply smart meter and powerline communication system

Stocked by Mouser, the STMicroelectronics STEVAL-ISA175V1 evaluation board has a three output isolated flyback designed to supply the STCOMET smart meter and powerline communication system. The device uses the VIPER26HD offline high-voltage converter and features an 800V avalanche-rugged power section. The board also has PWM operation at 115kHz with frequency jittering for lower EMI, current limiting with adjustable set point and on-board soft-start. The board can be used in a stand-alone configuration or with the dedicated STCOMET development kit. The PCB layout is designed to fit inside a real meter.
