RS Components – Arduino board addition enables users to develop Internet of Things applications

The Arduino 101 Industrial, available from RS Components, is a development board that evaluates the 101 Industrial Chiwawa LGA module. Similar to the Arduino Yun, the board features an on-board ATmega32u4 microcontroller, a Qualcomm Atheros AR9331 MIPS processor with Linino operating system and a IEEE 802.11b/g/n 1x1 2.4 GHz WiFi module. The Industrial 101 is another addition to the Arduino range of boards that enable users to develop Internet of Things applications. There are a range of Arduino boards at RS that feature an AVR ATmega microcontroller at the core. Most of the boards feature the 32u4 microcontroller with the Mega boards featuring the ATmega 2560 and the Uno/Nano boards featuring the ATmega328 microcontroller.
