Power management and precision analogue solutions added to portfolio of ICs

RS Components. a provider of innovative power management and precision analogue solutions, has announced a distribution agreement that allows the company to offer the complete Intersil product range to its customers worldwide. The product range, including solutions for battery management, digital power, high-speed data conversion and signal conditioning, complements their portfolio of ICs, discretes and associated components that are trusted by major customers in the industrial, advanced automotive, telecom, high-performance computing, and other dynamic technology sectors. The company also has strong optoelectronic, audio, interfacing, switching and multiplexing, and high-reliability product lines, which further boost the selection of high-value-add semiconductors. “RS Components has a long history of providing great support to the electronics community across many customers, markets and technologies, and this agreement will extend support for our wide range of power and analogue ICs,” said Chris Lister, Intersil’s vice president of sales. “We see RS as a valuable part of our sales network as we continue to expand our portfolio to address the customers’ design challenges especially in the power management area.” Jonathan Boxall, head of semiconductors at RS, added, “As an authorised distributor for Intersil, we now enjoy an even stronger position as a world-class supplier of high-performance semiconductors.
