Design & Manufacture
FC Lane Electronics has a wide range of heat shrinkable boots designed for strain relieving applications where motorsport connectors have integral backshell. They are also ideal for other connector designs that use boot adaptor backshells to save weight to cable transitions, as well as in other areas where insulation and component protection are key requirements.
The boots are manufactured by HellermannTyton and combine the advantages of quick, easy installation with high electric strength, mechanical toughness and superior chemical and environmental resistance. They are available for all circular connectors including Souriau’s 8STA, D38999 and micro38999.
The company has stocks of many adhesive lined and plain shaped boots and can also supply specialised shapes in a wide range of sizes, materials and adhesive options.
