HMI smart displays for OEM parts and industrial applications

31-08-2016 | Mouser Electronics | Subs & Systems

Available from Mouser, the MikroElektronika mikromedia HMI smart displays are intended to be used as OEM parts and industrial applications. The display is optimised for scale by removing all excessive circuitry from the original device to lower the cost, keeping only the essential components that simplify its integration into a final product. The boards are driven by FTDI's FT900Q MCU. The displays are from Riverdi and are driven by FTDI's FT812 graphic controller (on models with no touchscreen or resistive touchscreen) or the company’s FT813 graphic controller (on models with capacitive touchscreen). The hardware is fully compatible with mikroC, mikroBasic and mikroPascal for FT90x, as well as Visual TFT, the GUI design software. The device is available in four screen sizes: 3.5", 4.3", 5", 7", with different touchscreen options (capacitive, resistive, or without).
