RFMW has announced design and sales support for Peregrine Semiconductor’s PE42421, a low cost, high performance single-pole double-throw (SPDT) switch. It operates from 10MHz to 3GHz with insertion loss as low as 0.35dB and isolation as high as 30dB between ports. The input 1dB compression point is dependent on voltage and as high as 33.5dBm. Input IP3 is 55dBm.
This low cost switch finds applications in RFID, home networking, small cells and WiFi but also in avionics communications, EW, land mobile radio and macrocell base stations. Voltage supply can range from 1.8V-3.3V. This switch is offered in a small, SC70 package.
