Aimed at WLAN networks, repeaters, ISM band radios, Bluetooth systems, smartphones, and connectivity modules, Skyworks has introduced two new Wi-Fi switches. The SKY13585-679LF is a single-pole, double-throw (SPDT) switch intended for 1 to 6GHz applications. Using advanced switching technologies, this switch maintains low insertion loss and high isolation for all switching paths. The SKY13586-678LF is a single-pole, triple-throw (SP3T) antenna switch for 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi applications. The devices offer wide 3 to 5V supply range and are compatible with 1.8 or 3.3V control logic. They require fewer control signals from industry-standard SP2T and SP3T solutions and include integrated DC blocking capacitors, so no external DC blocking capacitors are required. They also feature high-linearity performance and low insertion loss, making them an ideal choice for transmit / receive applications. The switches are available in ultra-miniature 1mm x 1mm and 1.1mm x 1.1mm packages (6-or 8-pin), saving precious application board space and cost for OEMs. Video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iamES2NSfSw
