Converters designed for applications where board space is at a premium

The RI3 series from RECOM Power, from Digi-Key, has been specifically designed for applications where board space is at a premium since these 3W converters have the same footprint as their 2W converters. With efficiencies up to 90%, the full output power is available over the operating temperature range of -40C to 85C, and the converters can be used in ambient temperatures of up to 100C with derating. The wide selection of input-voltage and output-voltage options plus an I/O-isolation of 1kVDC, 2kVDC, or 3kVDC makes these converters suitable for many industrial applications. These modules additionally feature an integrated input filter (in accordance to EN 55022 class A) and do not require additional components. They are IEC/EN/UL-60950-1 certified and come with the company’s standard three year warranty.
