New CATV multi-chip power doubler modules

15-09-2016 | RFMW | Power

Available now from RFMW, two new Qorvo CATV power doublers are available as multi-chip modules (MCM). The RFCM3327 and RFCM3328 offer a minimum of 23dB and 25dB gain respectively. Both devices operate from 45 – 1218MHz for DOCSIS 3.1 requirements. Using a combination of GaAs and GaN technologies, the MCMs are unconditionally stable under all terminations while offering high linearity and optimal reliability. For both the RFCM3327 and RFCM3328, CTB is -80dBc and CTO is -80dBc. Operating from a 24V supply, current draw is nominally 480mA and is adjustable for optimum distortion performance versus power consumption. The devices also feature a temperature sensing feature allowing to be monitored.
