Available now from Rutronik, Littelfuse’s new TPSMF4L series transient voltage suppression (TVS) diodes are specifically designed to protect sensitive automotive electronic equipment and portable devices from voltage transients induced by load dump and other transient voltage events.
Helping designers to meet global regulatory standards, the AEC-Q101 qualified TVS-diodes offer 400W of peak pulse power dissipation and standard voltage ranges from 5V to 85V. They come in a compact, surface mount, flat-lead SOD-123FL plastic package with a height profile of only 0.98mm. Due to their compact size, they are ideal for portable devices that require high reliability such as hard drives, notebooks, VCC busses, POS terminals, SSDs, power supplies, monitors and other consumer applications. Also, the diodes are suitable for DC power protection and ESD protection in automotive electronics such as electronics control units, sensors, entertainment systems and body control modules (BCMs).
