Available from RS Components, the LUXEON HR30 series of LEDs from Lumileds are designed for use in harsh environments.
The LEDs come in a SMD (surface mounted) package which is gold plated lead framed. They utilise high quality materials which are robust and corrosion resistant, providing an LED with a long lifetime.
Their high performance makes the LEDs suitable for a wide range of applications. They are ideal for applications where there may be moisture in the air, for example indoor swimming pools.
