The i.LON 600 LonWorks/IP server from Echelon and available now at Digi-Key, is an ISO/IEC 14908 router that uses IP as a standard LonWorks channel to allow their devices, such as pumps, motors, valves, sensors, and lights, to be securely configured, monitored, and controlled over IP or Ethernet.
Offering excellent packet throughput, rugged construction, and simple commissioning, the router is ideal for demanding process control, building automation, utility, transportation, and telecommunications applications.
Secure access is ensured by the use of MD5 authentication, while a 32-bit RISC processor and the company’s LonWorks/IP architecture provide best-of-class performance for high-speed control, display, and monitoring applications.
