Powerful high-end Bluetooth v4.2 qualified single-mode BlueMod+S42 module

The powerful high-end Bluetooth v4.2 qualified single-mode BlueMod+S42 module from Telit is based on the nRF52 Nordic chip and makes BLE applications fast and secure. It is now available from Rutronik. The new single-mode module is suitable for a variety of IoT applications from simple cable replacement applications to complex mesh solutions. With Bluetooth v4.2, the Bluetooth SIG has specified important features that make Bluetooth low energy applications faster and more secure. Thanks to the BlueMod+S42, latest BLE technology can be easily and quickly integrated into a customer’s system. It supports Central as well as peripheral applications. As Central a GATT server with up to three connections is available. At the same time, a peripheral terminal I/O connection can connect to a smartphone or tablet. The module is extremely small (17mm x 10mm x 2.6mm) and controlled by a simple AT command interface. It is CE, FCC, IC and KCC certified.
