TVS diode for compact low-V applications

06-01-2017 | Digikey | Power

Littelfuse's SMF3.3 series TVS diodes, available from Digi-Key, are designed specifically to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transient events. They are provided in a small and flat-lead, low-profile, plastic package (SOD-123FL) and can deliver 200W at 10/1000µs of surge power capability. Its low reverse standoff voltage is just 3.3V and can deliver 200 W at 10/1000 µs, 1200W at 8/20µs surge power capability in a very small footprint, which makes it suitable for low voltage applications. The devices are ideal for the protection of portable devices/hard drives, notebooks, VCC busses, POS terminal, SSDs, power supplies, monitors, and vulnerable circuit used in other consumer applications.
