Graphics development module supports colour TFT LCD display with capacitive touch

The ME813A-WH50C module, available from RS Components, consists of a display controller board-based on the FT813 EVE device, built into a 5in WVGA LCD touchscreen display unit. It supports 800 x 480pixel colour TFT LCD display with capacitive touch, up to five simultaneous points. It has portrait and landscape display modes with on-board LCD backlight LED driver. The device has mono audio from FT813 or an external source. The on-board audio amplifier can drive an external 1W speaker. The FT900 32-bit microcontroller module, MM900EV-Lite matches the form-factor of the controller board and just plugs straight in.
