The S9648-200SB photo IC diode from Hamamatsu and stocked by RS Components has a plastic version of previous metal packages. The S9648-200SB has a spectral response which represents the sensitivity of the human eye. Suitable applications include; energy-saving sensors for TVs, dimmers for liquid crystal panels and light level measurement applications.
