Gresham Power Electronics has added a number of new models to its very successful range of encapsulated convection cooled power supplies.
Applications for the GPL range include instrumentation, test equipment, medical electronics and equipment operating in harsh environments.
The series of encapsulated linear power supplies is now available with output voltages from 5–250VDC at up to 25W and input voltages of 105-125VAC or 220–240VAC. Single output versions are available over the range 5–24VDC, dual outputs ±5, ±12 or ±15VDC and triple output versions have voltage options of 5/±12 or 5V/±15.
PCB and chassis mount versions are available with optional finger safe terminals and all models feature short circuit protection. The operating temperature range of the Gresham GPL series is -25C to +71C and a 400Hz input frequency version is available on request.
Industrial and medical approvals are met with medical versions offering extra low noise, IEC 60601-1 with 2MOPP (4000VAC reinforced insulation and 8mm creepage distance) and 2µA Patient Leakage Current.
Jake Moir, managing director of Gresham Power, comments, “We have a very well established market for our GPL range of encapsulated power supplies. Many applications require rugged, isolated low noise power supplies and adding more output voltage options and medical approvals will be welcomed by our customers.”
