Open source computer board ideal for development of software projects

The BeagleBone Black, available from RS Components, is an open-source, Linux-based computer board perfect for the development of projects using software such as Debian, Android and Ubuntu. The revision C board includes some extra project-enhancing features such as 4GB of eMMC Flash, micro HDMI connectivity and 512MB of DRAM. Features of the device include Sitara XAM3359 AZCZ100 Cortex A8 Processor from Texas Instruments with 3D graphics accelerator and Neon floating point accelerator. It includes two x PRU 32-bit microcontroller, 10/100 Ethernet connector with two USB ports (1 host, 1 client). The device is suitable for 5V power supply and includes microSD card slot. It is BeagleBone Cape compatible.
