New terminal fully integrates fingerprint identification

The ANVIZ OA1000 Mercury Fingerprint and RFID Terminal, available from RS Components, fully integrates fingerprint identification, RFID, camera, wireless, multimedia and embedded system technology. Utilising 3.5in industrial TFT true colour LCD, Samsung 400MHz Arm9 high-speed processor and Windows CE operation system and Lumidigm multispectral imaging sensors. Lumidigm multispectral fingerprint sensors capture fingerprint data beneath the surface of the skin, so dryness, damaged or worn fingers create no problems for reliable reads.
