New Schottky detector diodes eliminates need for external biasing

07-02-2017 | SemiGen | Semiconductors

SemiGen has added a series of new Zero Bias Schottky detector diodes to its expanding product offerings. The company’s SZB900 series of diodes are targeted for video detectors and power monitors, eliminating the need for external DC biasing. This series features low junction capacitances, high voltage sensitivity, uniform video resistances, and high sensitivity, all without external bias circuitry. With forward voltage drops of 0.3V and superior TSS, these diodes are ideally suited for use in waveguide, coaxial, and stripline applications through K-band. With an operating temperature from -55C to +150C and power dissipation of 100mW, these diodes come in chip, glass, ceramic, and beam lead packages.
