Available now from RS Components, the OSLON SSL 80 series of high power LEDs from OSRAM Opto Semiconductors offers excellent optical and thermal performance with a focused radiation pattern (80-deg) optimised for use with lenses and reflectors; it can also be used for direct lighting without secondary optics. This series of SMT LEDs offers long lifetimes and high reliability. Ideal applications for the series are spotlights or residential retrofits and fixtures, accent lighting, decorative and entertainment lighting and marker lights (e.g. stairways or exits).
