Available now from RS Components, the TE Connectivity Universal MATE-N-LOK connector housings are designed to perform to the latest Glow Wire test (GWT) requirement according to IEC 60335-1 and to meet the requirements of UL 94 V-0. These connector housings have a 6.35mm pitch and are made from specially designed Glow Wire compatible material with a high flammability rating. Positive locking latches on these connector housings provide a secure mating connection and prevent accidental unmating due to high vibration or shock. The housings are polarized to prevent mismating and an egg-crate design offers improved safety. These Glow Wire Universal MATE-N-LOK connector housings can be used in panel mount or wire to wire applications. Pin and socket contacts can be used in the same housing using standard 0.05mm to 5mm² contacts. Rear cavity identification enables easy assembly.
