21-03-2017 | Rutronik | Passives

The new PU series of low ohmic shunt resistors from Yageo are specifically designed for automotive and power system applications. It is available now from Rutronik.   Adopting the welding metal plate method, the new PU series is AEC-Q200 qualified for automotive requirements. It has also passed a series of MIL-STD-202 to withstand above 1,000 times temperature cycling (-55C/+125C), 1,000 hours high humidity (+85C/85% RH) and still possess long endurance. The series features low resistance down to 0.2mOhm, a tolerance of ±1%, and TCR as low as ±75ppm/C, with a higher power rating from 3W up to 10W. Thanks to these characteristics, the PU series is an ideal solution for high stability requirement in automotive, power system, telecommunication and alternative energy.
