Alpha Micro Components has announced the availability of the Lantronix xPico 110 wired device server module. The device is a compact, easy-to-integrate Ethernet networking module for embedded and industrial applications. Designed for quick integration with minimal engineering effort, the device features a complete TCP/IP stack with web server and networking services. Its TruPort Serial technology, along with hardware-based 256-bit AES encryption, provides secure serial data communication. Its compact 18mm x 31mm footprint makes it easy to integrate into virtually any industrial design. “With a focus on ease of integration and its full-featured TCP/IP stack, the xPico 110 is an extremely easy way to add wired networking to an existing design,” noted Tim Bonnett, director at Alpha Micro Components. “The xPico 110’s TruPort technology and integrated software stack enables designers to easily integrate legacy devices into today’s industrial networks, without having to write a single line of code.”
