RS Components – PCB evaluation module for methane gas sensor

This PCB evaluation module from Figaro is for use with the TGS3870 methane and carbon monoxide gas sensor, available from RS Components (RS 134-6655). Testing of the sensor is simplified by using a continuous output signal generated by this module. The operating mode of device uses a 20-second heater cycle for intermittent detection, but with this evaluation module the intermittent sensor response is converted into a continuous output voltage by the software contained in the module's microprocessor. The module requires a regulated operating supply of 5VDC.
