Powersolve has announced its PJN series of DC-AC sine wave inverters which provide between 1000VA and 4500VA from a DC input between 40 to 60VDC. They also take 230VAC mains input enabling them to operate in a UPS mode and switch over to 48V DC batteries automatically when the incoming mains fails.
This make the PJN Series suitable for telecoms systems that use a 230VAC input supply and 48VDC battery back-up. Applications include powering wireless paging equipment, microwave communications equipment, programme controlled exchange charging systems, fax machines and all kinds of AC instrumentation and computer equipment.
The PJN Series comprises five models all designed around high efficiency Sinusoidal PWM (SPWM) inversion technology and all incorporating an energy-saving ECO working mode.
Other key features include front-end maintenance, alarms for battery low and inverter failure and protection against battery low, over-voltage, overload, short circuit, over temperature and utility bypass. Front panel LEDs indicate inverter, battery and fault conditions.
