A series of space saving, versatile MICRO D connectors is available from Lane Electronics. The Nicomatic DMM Series Micro-D Mix are robust, compact and shock resistant connectors that will satisfy a wide range of applications in miniature and portable devices as well as on-board electronics and rack and panel systems.
The connectors meet the requirements of MIL-DTL-83513G and are designed for cable and PCB applications. These connectors feature a 2mm pitch in one to four rows and in shell sizes capable of holding two to 120 contacts. Versions available include on-cable, straight and right-angle PCB while applications include I/O connector, board to board, board to cable and cable to cable.
As well as a high pin density, DMM connectors can be supplied with hybrid contacts (low frequency-3A, high frequency-6GHz and high power-up to 20A).
The company can supply them in an all low frequency or mixed-layout configurations, with high frequency and/or high-power contacts. They also come with the option of mono and split backshells for mechanical and EMI 360-degree protection.
