Low power, flexible IoT solution ready for designers to start innovating

Cypress Semiconductor has released the PSoC 6 BLE Pioneer Kit and PSoC Creator IDE software version 4.2 that enable designers to begin innovating with the PSoC 6 MCU for IoT applications. PSoC BLE 6 is claimed to be the industry’s lowest power, most flexible MCU with built-in Bluetooth Low Energy wireless connectivity and integrated hardware-based security in a single device. “We have seen overwhelming interest in PSoC 6 with more than 2,500 customers registering for our early adopter program in just a few months,” said John Weil, VP and GM of the MCU Business Unit at Cypress. “Initial feedback from early adopters has been that the combination of features in PSoC 6 really hits the mark for IoT designs. We are excited to see how our broader customer base will now use the PSoC 6 BLE Pioneer Kit to develop innovative products.”
