40W chassis mount converter with ultra-wide 4:1 input range offers high performance

Traco Power has released the TEQ 40WIR family of isolated, high performance DC-DC converter modules with ultra-wide 4:1 input voltage ranges and come in a rugged metal case. These converters are design for railway, transit and industrial environments featuring a full load/convection-cooled operating temperature range of -40C to 83C (up to 92C with derating). The family consists of 12 standard models offering input ranges of 9.5~36 / 18~75/43~160VDC and output voltages of 5/12/15/24VDC. Features include: High efficiency operation up to 91%; EN55022 Class B EMI; I/O isolation of 3,000VDC; Undervoltage lockout; and protection against overvoltage/overtemperature and short circuit. These converters measure 4.06” x 2.25” x 1.03”. All models are safety approved to IEC/EN/UL 60950-1 (Industrial / ITE Applications), EN 50155 (Rail / Transit Applications) and bear the CE Mark with a warranty of three years.
