New lightweight plastic connectors with modular interface for optimum flexibility

TTI Europe are now offering the ITT Cannon APD Series connectors. These connectors are lightweight plastic interconnects with bayonet coupling and optional secondary locking. Rated to IP67/IP69K against water and dust ingress, the series now has a modular interface that offers highest flexibility for the control of cabin to chassis interface and inline connectors in transport applications. Originally created for the harsh environments found in the construction, agricultural, truck and bus market where high sealing grades must be met, the robust APD connector family is designed according to ISO 15170 specifications. Lightweight and field-repairable, the APD Series includes one-way and two-way high power, VDE-certified four-way high voltage and up to 51-way high-density connectors. The company has added the new Modular APD Interface enabling configuration and interchangeability of multiple APD connectors. Applications include cooling and heating systems, chassis, gearbox, signal and power distribution, engine control unit, lighting, dashboard harnessing and others.
