Gresham Power – Quarter-brick DC-DC converters offer ultra-wide input range for industrial and railway applications

Gresham Power Electronics has announced the availability two new series of DC-DC converters from Polytron Devices for use in industrial and railway applications. The QB100 and QB150 series boast 100W and 150W ratings, respectively, feature a 4:1 ultra-wide input range and operating temperature of -40C to +110C. Both converters feature remote control, no minimum load requirement and low standby power consumption; are CE marked and meet UL60950-1, EN60950-1 and IEC 60950-1 safety standard and are compliant with RoHS II and Reach guidelines. Jake Moir, managing director of Gresham Power, comments, “Railway equipment and many industrial applications are required to operate in extreme weather conditions and from unregulated power sources. The QB100 and QB150 DC-DC converters are designed to provide stable system power output in these demanding environments while being compact and cost-effective.”
