Miniaturised isolated DC-DC converters for renewable energy

Multi-output DC-DC converters from Murata and available from TTI Europe are providing a unique miniaturised solution to reduce design complexity and time-to-market. IGBTs are regularly used in high power inverter and converter circuits and often require significant isolated gate drive power to switch optimally. Small isolated DC-DC converters can provide the performance and power characteristics needed to support the harsh requirements over alternative methods. The same factors apply in principal to gate drives for silicon, silicon carbide and gallium nitride MOSFETs.
