GUI engine enables developers to build software directly on a PC before hardware development completed

27-02-2018 | ByteSnap | Development Boards

ByteSnap Design’s SnapUI enables developers and graphic designers to build software for an embedded device directly on a Windows or Linux PC even before hardware development of the embedded device has been completed. The software can be displayed on a desktop and, when the user interface has been accepted, it can be recompiled and installed on the embedded device, reducing the dependencies between software and hardware work streams and accelerates development. Dunstan Power, director, ByteSnap Design said: “As an NXP Approved Engineering Consultant, we are excited to be demonstrating how our SnapUI can run on NXP’s new i.MX7 ULP processor to bring speed and flexibility of development to more embedded design projects.” Embedded World, NXP stand, Booth 4A-220
