Distribution agreement gives access to extensive portfolio of industrial components

RS Components has signed a distribution agreement for the EMEA region with IDEC EMEA, a manufacturer of industrial automation and control products. The deal builds upon the longstanding and successful relationship between the companies. RS is the first distributor in Europe to stock the IDEC range, which will initially include more than 1,000 part numbers, with more to follow shortly. These also include more than 700 new industrial control switches with both 16mm and 22mm diameters, and safety laser scanners, enabling switches, safety switches, industrial LED lighting products and power supplies. "APEM and RS have enjoyed a long and successful cooperation, and we are delighted to now add IDEC products to the RS portfolio," commented Jim Cooper, vice president of EMEA Sales at APEM and IDEC.
