IoT dev kit brings together Intel processing and Arduino simplicity

Mouser is stocking the UP Squared Grove IoT Development Kit from AAEON. Created as a modular and ready-to-use toolset and optimised for simplicity, the kit merges a custom Ubuntu 16.04 LTS operating system and end-to-end tools to decrease development time and provide a high-performance development platform for machine learning, computer vision, and data aggregation applications. The kit joins an AAEON UP Squared board and the Seeed Studio Grove prototyping system with the Arduino Create integrated online platform. The AAEON UP Squared is a high-performance x86 board based on a 2.4GHz Intel Celeron N3350 SoC for fast CPU and graphics capabilities. The board offers an Intel MAX 10FPGA with 2,000 LE, 8Gbytes of LPDDR4 RAM, and 32Gbytes of eMMC storage, as well as a robust offering of IO expansion options. The development kit is perfect for prototyping a mixture of IoT applications, including drones, robotics, media and entertainment, home and industrial automation, and intelligent automobiles.
