Low jitter any-frequency clock generator can generate up to six independent clock frequencies

Based on Silicon Labs proprietary MultiSynth flexible frequency synthesis technology, the Si5332, available now from RS Components, generates any combination of output frequencies with excellent jitter performance (230fs rms). The device's highly flexible architecture allows a single device to generate a wide range of integer and non-integer related frequencies on up to 12 differential clock outputs with 0ppm frequency synthesis error. The device's highly configurable output path features a cross point mux and has up to three independent fractional synthesis output paths. There is also an embedded 50MHz crystal option. The device is Pb-free, RoHS-6 compliant.
